Bridgepoint Condominium-Hotel was built in the late 1970's. It had inherent design defects related to the exterior facade in that the finish failed and the wall leaked within the first year. The 115 owners tried unsuccessfully to solve the problems. Finally in 2002 the Board of Directors asked Tim Aynesworth to inspect the project and begin the process of restoring the facade properly. The solutions offered ranged from restoring the finish with PPG Coraflon to a total replacement of the wall system.
The Owners voted to restore the finish.
Tim Aynesworth provided Project Management and Design of the proposed work. |

Project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result. Many organizations have projects, but designing and constructing buildings and other facilities are special kinds of projects requiring specialized expertise. Project Management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to the project activities to meet the project requirements. The required areas of Knowledge involve integrating the project scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk and procurement
AYNESWORTH PROJECT MANAGEMENT defines the opportunities and problems related to your project through detailed discussions with the Project Owner. The outcome of that process is a Project Overview Statement, the purpose of which is to:
Define the problems and opportunities in factual terms Agree on the Goal Determine the Objectives necessary to reach the Goal Define the Success Criteria State the Assumptions and Risks
Then project details begin to emerge and APM directs and manages the process and communications among the team members. Project Phases Formally Initiated Planned, Executed and Controlled and formally Closed. |
